| Shedding! | Views: 145 |
Well, I think the hair loss saga is beginning. It’s starting to come out if I run my hands through it. And it’s not just falling off my head… But, sadly, it’s not falling off my legs! Big surprise, the hair falls off the places you actually want it, and stubbornly sticks to the places you don’t.
So tomorrow I’m going to the American Cancer Society to see about free wigs, hats and scarves. My insurance company of course won’t cover a wig, but who’s complaining.
So if this shedding continues I may have to shave it all off. After all, we have enough fur to clean up around here as it is!
Next Tuesday is chemo treatment #2…almost halfway there! I’m hoping it goes smoothly. My white blood cell count is just slightly low, so hopefully it won’t drop any more. Funny thing, everyone else here has a cold but me!
I’ll be sure to take pictures of my “bald is beautiful” head so be sure to check back!

I had ovarian cancer last year. I lost the hair everywhere. I think my head was first, eyebrows were last. I did not like the zero eyebrow look but they grew back first so I was only withotu them for about a month.
