Michelle- congratulations! I hope you are feeling better and get some relief from the hip pain. I finished my Xeloda and radiation last Tuesday- I see the surgeon next week to get…low appetite, but it has come back quickly. Do you go for surgery next as well? You've made it through a tough phase- celebrate! Take care of yourself, and get some rest- Kim

I hope all goes well tomorrow, Patty. And when I spoke of indulgent plastic surgery I most certainly didn't mean necessary reconstruction. I will be thinking of you. Andrea

That was a beautiful poem--your daughter is talented, sensitive and smart--so glad that she was able to offer you support (and vice versa). I just finished my treatment last wee… would offer more information before the follow-up visit with the rad onc. Have a terrific and relaxing time in palm Springs--you certainly have earned a nice vacation!! Hugs

I enjoyed your story and I feel like you have all the more reason to fight the fight. My story is sad because I have been telling my best to see the doc's because he was losing so…He got sick the Doc's took a look inside and came back and gave him 4 to six months ti live. It just shows that life is what you make of it. Good luck with your new found family..

I really do think our family, including children and our pets, understand much more than we would give them credit for. Sounds like you have been a trooper when it comes to recover…breeze for you, as well as you have bounced back from your surgery. Most people aren't so tough. (not sure I could do as well as you have done with it). Wishing you many blessings.

Dear Joyce; Firstly thanks so much for the birthday wishes, even though you are the one who needs the attention. I'm happy you pulled through this ordeal. It must have been a to…, in my humble opinion it wasn't all that bad. I never really felt any side effects from it. Hope you start feeling more comfortable soon. Take care and thanks for the update.
